CHINA: One in three Chinese singles fear marriage, survey

  A recent poll has found that 33 percent of single Chinese are afraid of getting married. The report was released by China’s dating website Baihe.com before the Spring Festival. According to it, women were afraid of marriage mainly because they feared the third person-parties in marriage and domestic violence, while men were afraid of marriage generally because they didn't have houses or couldn't afford the fees for marriage, or to support a family.
