Comment from "Cruisin' Mary": Vladivostok is such an unusual city--it was fun to see the video about it and to recall my first visit there! Especially memorable from the video: that touch of post-Cold War bravado by the locals, though I don't believe for a moment they could have beat NATO despite all the armaments hidden away nearby.
